Hey everyone. We hope you are doing well! As much as we hate to treat this as a real business instead of just an awesome place where we get to make people happy with fireworks, we’ve got to do it. That being said, we want to notify you of some ordering changes that might affect you.
If you’ve been in the fireworks industry for a few years, you know we’ve been having a challenging time getting product lately. General instability, global product shortages and shipping problems mean we aren’t getting the items we’ve ordered as reliably as in the past, and they also mean prices are going up at an alarming rate. We are and will continue to do everything we can to get the best fireworks for you at the best possible prices but we’ve also had to tighten up some of our policies a bit. So here it is: Place your order, put down a non-refundable 50% deposit, and we will hold the products for you for up to a year. After that, we reserve the right to release your hold on the products. We will try to contact you before we release your products. And don’t worry, you’ll still have a credit for the amount you’ve paid minus a 25% restocking fee. Please note that deposits are non-refundable, and that deposits hold your product but do not guarantee prices. Until your order is paid in full, prices are subject to change. If you do pay in full but you do not pick up within a year, we can either update your order to reflect the current selling price of your held items, or we can release your product and give you a credit (minus the 25% restocking fee) towards a new order. Again, we will try to contact you before we do this. If you’ve paid in full for something that we have not actually received yet, we might have to increase the price on that item as well. We don’t like this part at all but shipping prices have skyrocketed well past estimates for several of our most recent containers. If you decide not to take an item that you have put on hold, there will be a 25% restocking fee. Again, we hate to do it, but supplies are limited and we think it is fair to charge you a fee if we hold something for you that we could’ve sold to someone else and then you decide not to buy it. That being said, if you are having some sort of issue feel free to talk to us about it. We try our very best to balance being understanding, reasonable people with not running our business into the ground.
We sold out of almost everything this year. That was not at all the plan. We want to sell you the fireworks that you want to buy. We are definitely getting more product in and we do still have fireworks to sell you. Everything is in process at the moment and if you have questions about a specific item feel free to email or call us (although right now we probably won’t have much to tell you). If you’ve subscribed to our email list, we’re also going to continue sending out email updates as products come in. We will also continue to update the website to reflect current inventory levels.
