Can I buy fireworks from you?
Well, that depends. Many of the items we carry require a Federal Explosives License or permit from BATFE. We also carry 1.4g consumer items but we do not sell to the general public â weâre wholesalers! If you are purchasing 1.4g for resale at your store, tent, or whatever and have a retail merchants certificate or state issued permit for resale â or if you have an ATF license/permit, we are happy to sell you 1.4g product all day long.
If you do not have an ATF license/permit but are interested in getting one, donât hesitate to contact us! Weâll be happy to help any way we can â you can even stop by and weâll help you fill out the form. Itâs not so hard. We might even have some extra fingerprint cards lying around. We can also provide a contingency letter if youâre within a reasonable distance.
OK, I have an ATF license/permit or a consumer store. Whatâs the next step?
Check out our product online or at our demo and come buy our fireworks!
Hereâs a handy link to our catalog/product page.
Weâll need a valid copy of your ATF license and a valid photo ID when you come pick up your order if youâre purchasing 1.3g product. Weâll ask you to fill out a customer information form (itâs short, I promise) and make a copy of your license and ID. If the ATF license is under a company name we will also need a copy of the ATF âNotice of Clearanceâ, showing the Responsible Person(s) under the company license. Only those listed as a âResponsible Personâ can pick up fireworks unless an authorization form is completed, signed, and on file.
Email us at sales@lynchimportsllc.com or call (812)623-0099 and weâll schedule an appointment. We fill orders by appointment only â so if you just show up we might not be here. You can email or fax us your order ahead of time. Our fax number is (812)645-3807. This helps quite a lot, and can save us all time! When you come, weâll sit down and make sure everything is right. You can change your order at any time before you leave, no sweat! We probably have something you didnât know you wanted!
How do I make sure I get exactly what I want?
Well, if you’ve been in the fireworks industry for a few years, you know we’ve been having a challenging time getting product lately. General instability, global product shortages and shipping problems mean we aren’t getting the items we’ve ordered as reliably as in the past, and they also mean prices are going up at an alarming rate. That being said, we are doing everything we can to get the best fireworks for you at the best possible prices but we’ve also had to tighten up some of our policies a bit. So here it is: Place your order, put down a non-refundable 50% deposit, and we will hold it for you for up to a year. After that, we reserve the right to release your hold on the products. Don’t worry, you’ll still have a credit for the amount you’ve paid minus a 25% restocking fee. Please note that deposits are non-refundable, and that deposits hold your product but do not guarantee prices. Until items are paid in full, prices are subject to change. We don’t like this part at all but shipping prices have skyrocketed well past estimates for several of our most recent containers. If you decide not to take an item that you have put on hold, there will be a 25% restocking fee. Again, we hate to do it, but supplies are limited and we think it is fair to charge you a fee if we hold something for you that we could’ve sold to someone else and then you decide not to buy it. That being said, if you are having some sort of issue feel free to talk to us about it. We try our very best to balance being understanding, reasonable people with not running our business into the ground.
Despite our best efforts, we do run out of things. We donât like it any more than you do when this happens. If you were counting on something and didnât reserve it, we can always suggest a replacement. To be honest, we’re not quite sure when everything will be back in stock this year. Everything is in process at the moment and if you have questions about a specific item feel free to email or call us. If you’ve subscribed to our email list, we’re also going to continue sending out email updates as products come in.
Sometimes circumstances beyond our control (i.e. factory accidents in China, shipment delays, Coronavirus outbreaks, etc.) may make it so we don’t get the product that we ordered in a timely manner. If you have placed a currently-out-of-stock-but-expected-item on reserve and we do not get your item in stock in time for your display, we will help you find a suitable replacement. If we can’t find anything that makes you happy then we will refund the applicable portion of your deposit for the items we didn’t get in. Wow, that was wordy. Basically, we will try to make you happy but our powers over the universe are, unfortunately, limited.
How can I pay for these fireworks?
We accept cash, credit, and debit cards. Weâre getting pretty close to the point where we wonât take checks, so touch base with us first if thatâs how you are planning on paying.
Hey, can I get a discount?
Nope!
What? Youâre still reading? Volume discount programs are just not for us. We want the customer whoâs ordering 5 cases to get the same great prices as the guy whoâs getting 500 cases. Plus we always try to make our prices fair from the start! We do offer a rebate in product on orders over $100,000 that are picked up at the same time. Contact us for more details!
Can you ship me fireworks?
Yup, we sure can. 1.4g product can go by common carrier, so thatâs not too bad. 1.3g though â thatâs another story. Itâs expensive, and we hate that, but if you are unable to transport the product yourself, it may be the best option for you. Weâre using third party shipping companies right now and are happy to request a quote for you if you can provide the size of your order, the delivery address, and a date range for your requested delivery. We are working on establishing regular shipping lanes that might come pretty close to you, because it will always be cheaper if we can combine multiple orders in one trip. We love it when you talk to other pyros in your area and want to share a delivery. We want you to spend your money on fireworks, not shipping! Contact sales@lynchimportsllc.com for details or a quote.
Hereâs a link to our business on Google Maps so you can see how easy we are to get to.
Do you offer ship-show insurance?
Yup. We are able to offer general liability insure that will cover damage to property or spectators to qualified customers. For more about what âqualifiedâ means, how it works and what it costs, contact sales@lynchimportsllc.com or call (812)623-0099.
Do you accept returns?
Mostly no. We understand that sometimes shows get cancelled, and in those instances we are willing to work with you as long as certain conditions are met. The product must be in exactly the same condition it was in when you received it, because otherwise we cannot resell it. If the product is not in a saleable condition, we are unable to accept it for a refund. Our second condition is probably not going to be your favorite, but returns are subject to a restocking fee of 25%. We know each situation is different, so we are happy to review your specific circumstance with you if need be.
What should I expect if I come to an open shoot?
If you know us at all, you know that the #1 rule at Lynch Imports is “don’t get hurt!” That rule also extends to you when you are our guest at either the demo or an open shoot (or any other event we might host). This means that before we allow you to shoot anything, we will require you to wear proper personal protective equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines for a fireworks display site (linked here). Specifically, you must use PPE for your head, eyes, hearing, and feet (helmet, safety glasses, ear protection, close-toed shoes), and wear long-sleeved and long-legged clothing made of cotton, wool, or similar flame-resistant cloth. (And yes, we do expect you to follow these requirements even when it is hot outside.) This also means no smoking or open flame within 50 feet of any fireworks, and no alcohol or drug use. We will also ask you to sign a waiver and expect you to comply with any of our written or verbal instructions. If you need to borrow some gear for the day or have any questions, give us a call and we will be happy to figure something out. Hopefully, you are already familiar with and always follow these safety guidelines, but if not then maybe we will be a good influence on you. The bottom line is, we want everyone to have as much fun as possible, and nobody has any fun if anybody gets hurt.

Weâre serious about compliance and want you to be too. Weâre here to help you however we can. We mean it. Donât hesitate to reach out to us at any time. We love talking with folks about fireworks â even when itâs about compliance. If weâre all as educated and as safe as possible, our grandchildren will have a chance to grow up loving fireworks too. The only stupid question is the one you donât ask!
We reserve the right to sell to anyone at any time and limit quantities available for sales. We also reserve the right to increase prices at any time. If it looks to us like youâre doing something shady, weâre going to send you packing. Sorry/not sorry â weâre required to do so. See 27 CFR 555.106 in the ATF regulations/orange book!
